Klapstuk/Korzo producties, Gauri Sharma Tripathi, NEuE | ‘Cloud Messenger’
Role: Creative Producer
Premiere: Openings performance at India Dance Festival, May 2024
This production was a collaboration between Collectief Klapstuk, Korzo Theatre, New European Ensemble, two choirs, soloist singers and 8 dancers. Claire was the producer of this comprehensive performance and worked closely together with the Korzo team during the process of realizing the production.
‘Cloud Messenger is a contemporary, interdisciplinary music and dance performance at the intersection of Indian and Western traditions.
The piece is inspired by the ancient poem Meghaduta, written by one of India’s greatest poets, Kalidasa. In the poem, a banished nature spirit — lonely and yearning for his beloved — asks a passing cloud to deliver a message of love to her.
Clouds are seen as fleeting celestial bodies capable of connecting people across distances — a compelling idea in an age where individuals, institutions, and governments seem increasingly disconnected.

More info & bookingsRole: Creative Producer, supporting performer at exhibition

As creative producer Claire doesn’t only support Salomé practically, but also artistically. She also has a small part in the performance. Recently she has become the regular creative producer of the newly found company of Salomé, ‘Fooling Around’.
‘The Shelteratelier is an investigation into personal places of shelter in the form of an eclectic hands-on installation. Places that bring us to a rest and can harbor us. Places where the noise of life can calm down, and we can come into contact with another layer of existence. One that sometimes seems hard to touch, but is essential and necessary to ground ourselves. It is a place where an outside world coincides with an inside world, for a moment.
Through questions and discoveries in an intimate one-on-one time-slot, a personal experience is translated into a miniature model. The model is possibly donated to the collection of possible shelters. Together they form a nomadic collection of many different places needed to land. An ever-growing collection, with contributions from every place where The Shelteratelier takes place.
